ABOUT ME

My name is Bea and I am a Clinical Psychologist skilled in providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to adults, young people and families. I am currently working as a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in South London. I have experience providing comprehensive assessment and intervention with clients experiencing a range of mental health difficulties including complex trauma, anxiety and depression as well as supporting parents and carers. I also have experience providing consultation and support to professionals and carers experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue and secondary trauma.

I am skilled in providing a range of therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Mentalisation based therapy, and Narrative Exposure Therapy. My research and clinical interests include the impact of trauma on young people, families and professionals; burnout and stress related illness; and therapeutic parenting. I supervise Clinical Psychologists and Trainee Clinical Psychologists and provide regular training in a range of areas including self-harm, therapeutic parenting, attachment and child development. I am able to offer regular therapy sessions and/or one-off consultations.

  • Registered Clinical Psychologist with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) - registration number PYL33746

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN)

  • First Class Honours BSc in Psychology from University of Birmingham
